Jayden Key
Jayden Key is an award-winning actor recognized for his bold and versatile stage work. A graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio, his New York credits include HUCKA (The Players Theatre), I am angry at a force I cannot see at The Poetry Project (dir. Chana Porter), The Cappuccinos (The Brick), and Satan in Toofs (The Secret Theatre and Chain Theatre), for which he received the Secret Theatre Festival Best Actor Award. At Houston’s Catastrophic Theatre, he made a breakthrough in Chana Porter’s Leap and the Net Will Appear under director Tara Ahmadinejad and later won the Houston Press Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Wesley in Curse of the Starving Class. Honored as an Emeritus Core Artist with Catastrophic Theatre, New work development includes workshops with La MaMa ETC, Clubbed Thumb, Stages Repertory Theatre, The Poetry Project, and Sarah Lawrence.
